ODS to XLSYou will need to have OpenOffice installed on your computer. It's absolutly FREE and you can download it here Sometimes, due to lack of compatibility between formats, we recieve an ODS spreadsheet only we need to load it in Excel. This is when converting an ODS to XLS can be crucial. To make this conversion, follow these three easy steps: 1. Locate your ODS file and double click it to open in OpenOffice.
2. Click "File" in the top menu, and select "Save As". You can also press Ctrl+Shift+S
3. Change Save as type to "Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls)", give your file a name and choose where you want your file to be saved (e.g. Desktop/My Documents). When finished press Save.
That's it! You can now close OpenOffice and open your new file in Microsoft Excel.
